 "The life of a digital artist" - It was a project I was working on the night before the last blog. Fell asleep that night while working on it. The next day I clearly couldn't work on it at all, because, reasons. I wrote about it in the last blog.  I wanted to draw this one for a few days then. I wanted to have this illustration that conveys the diligence of a digital artist, any freelancer to be honest. Well, it could speak for any workaholics from any industry. My brother is a banker and works on codings and creates apps. He is quite like that as well. No more beating around the bushes. The drawing was this: I won't make this blog longer.  I was working on a project called "Life of a digital artist". Literally fell asleep to it. Woke up in the middle of the night and decided to save it for the next day. Sun rose and my day began. Wait, let me rephrase. Sun rose and hours passed. Then I woke up. It's a new day and an old project. I was envisioning the drawing I was going to do for the day. Was planning various details and ways to approach the outcome I was intending.  It was almost 12pm and I still hadn't started on the remaining work from the previous night. I was working on making Logos and posting them on my  dribble  and  behance . Created Fiverr and Upwork as well to sell products online. I will talk more about it later. I was having coffee and finishing all these tasks while listening to music on YouTube. I had to clean my room after I was done with logos. I was cleaning and organizing hoarded stuff. It was kind of like Dota 2. But a little less fun and scarier. Misty foggy atmosphere sheltering a wild beast. One whose eyes can be seen through the clouds. The dream was so messy yet perfectly alluring. When I woke up, I remembered a tad bits of it. But the environment and the beast stuck in my head. I was having my coffee and only thinking about the possible ways to capture my dream through illustration. Perfect. That'd be a great way to increase my skill and to preserve a memory. Killing two birds with a stone. Started working on it passionately.                    The blurs were kind of making my laptop laggy. It was getting somewhere. I was kind of happy with it. Next, I wanted to add a tree. It would be a cinematic angle. Only a part of the tree would be visible. I want to add an archer lady. Better if she is in action. Probably flying (jumping high) while bowing. I had to create the warrior twice. I didn't like the first one and ...

 I just don't know what is wrong. The starting was so good. Things were going nice and smooth. Then some issues came up with the outlines I drew. Also, I felt the colour combination was not going well with each other. Tried a lot to fix it but to no avail.  I had a hard time drawing the hands. Took me a bit of time just to get settled with his hands.     So my Stomp guy finally looks like this. Stomp guy? what do you mean Dex? Stay with me, you will know soon.  I know the shoe and the ankle has the same colour. I fixed it in the next sitting. I would also have to add light and shadows. But I was kind of more interested in making the surroundings first. My idea was to have this guy gone to have himself milk and cookies from a store. While returning he discovers a puddle. Writing this down before I hit the bed. Just watched a movie with Winnie, "The Croods". I had already seen the movie years ago. But I wanted her to watch it. Anyway, I am getting off-topic,  This would be a short and fast catch up on the illustration class as it's getting late. So much to do, so much to learn, so little time. In the class by  EnvatoTuts+ , Mr Dan taught us things about colour swatches. It was all about colours. The usage of colour swatches for faster colouring. Adding customised colours to the swatches. And the most interesting one was the colour theme which uses the adobe cloud and shows a variety of colour combinations for a vibrant and eye-catching result. The community's most picked and voted colour combinations and adding them to the colour swatches can bring life to a dull illustration.  And for people who don't like adobe clouds, we were given websites where we can pick other good colour combinations as well.
